Sally Prize

The Sallan Foundation will periodically invite applications for the Sally Prize that will be awarded to students who are enrolled at institutions of higher learning in New York City.

The purpose of the Sally Prize is to encourage urban environmental research and its application to urban environmental problem solving.

Each award cycle will be organized around a specific substantive theme that will be announced at the beginning of a Sally Prize cycle. Further Info »

Fuse useful knowledge, support and collaboration to advance a high performance agenda

Host events that bring together experts, advocates and decision makers

Participate on boards, taskforces and advisory groups that advocate for greener cities

Now through Aug. 9. Don't miss it! MoMA tackles one of the most urgent challenges facing the nation's largest city: sea-level rise resulting from global climate change. Five interdisciplinary architectural teams re-envision the coastlines of NY and NJ around NY Harbor and imagine new ways to occupy the harbor itself with adaptive "soft" infrastructures that are sympathetic to the needs of a sound ecology. These new visions seek to dramatically change our relationship to one of the city's great open spaces.
